Psychotherapist

I obtained my Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio. I like to call myself a welfare class social worker. I am from the inner city of Columbus, OH, and am dedicated to pouring into my community- as it is such a privilege.

Therapy starts with grace and ends with grace. I believe in looking at things from a holistic approach, which involves getting to the root. Finding a therapist can be overwhelming but give yourself some grace, change is not easy.  I’m here to help you find balance and the tools to pour into yourself. I have assisted adult-aged clients with depression, anxiety, racial injustices, trauma, codependency, relational issues, pregnancy and postpartum-related issues, and life adjustments because life ‘just be lifing’ sometimes.  My areas of expertise include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, feminist theory, and psychodynamic approaches—tailored to the needs of those I’m serving. I help clients identify how their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are inner connected, how they can be influenced by their childhood, and gain more self-awareness. In my spare time, I like to brunch, read books about psychology, feminism, and Black history, and spend time with my loved ones.
