Qiana Russell, MSSA, LISW has been in the social services field for over 20 years She has worked with clients experiencing developmental and intellectual disabilities and severe and persistent mental illnesses. She often times works with those experiencing co-occurring disorders. Over the last two decades, she has assisted children and adults in group home settings, residential treatment facilities, and community-based settings. As her career progressed she has moved from a direct support professional to a case manager to a clinical therapist to supervisory and quality assurance work.
Ms. Russell obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Ursuline College and a Master’s in Social Service Administration (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University. As a clinical social worker, she currently focuses on facilitating individual and family therapy, with a focus on Motivational Interviewing (MI), Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
