What Can I Expect From Our First Session?
At Free Spirit Counseling we like to take the first counseling session to talk to you and get to know more about what brought you in. We will ask you questions about your background and history and then save a few minutes at the end of the session to answer any questions you may have.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
We require 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or you will be charged a $75.00 late cancel/no show fee for the session.
How Long Does Each Therapy Session Take?
Each session is usually about 53-60 minutes, this is the standard length of a therapy session.
How Often Will We Meet?
That depends on what you and your therapist determine best fits your needs.
What Therapeutic Approaches Do You Use?
Each therapist at Free Spirit Counseling has a different approach to therapy. We feel that it is important to align with clients to help them to accomplish their goals. We also use therapy modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) among other modalities.
Do You Accept Insurance?
Free Spirit Counseling LLC is an in network provider in Ohio for Aetna, Cigna, Medical Mutual, OhioHealthy, and OSU (student and staff). For the insurances that I am out of network with I do provide therapy invoices for clients to submit to their insurance for out-of-network reimbursement after full payments (please contact your insurance to ensure this is an option).
